Robson Roofing has been engaged to deliver a comprehensive roofing and waterproofing package for the Lordship Lane development in Wood Green, North London. The scheme, located on the former Mecca Bingo site, provides 623 student bedrooms and 77 affordable homes across four buildings rising up to nine storeys.
Task
Robson Roofing is delivering a full roofing and waterproofing package spanning across 6,000m2; Inverted hotmelt waterproofing system with insulation achieving 0.10 W/m²K, filter sheet protection, and high-performance build-up. Finishes including Gravel ballast, Biodiverse Green Roofs, and Bio-Solar roofing systems, external terrace paving systems installed on non-combustible pedestals to external terraces. Pitch roofs construction including breather membrane, battens, insulation to 0.10 U-value, felt underlay, and concrete tile system. Dry ridge and verge system with lead-lined valley gutters for enhanced durability and weather protection.
