12 Thames Road, Barking
12 Thames Road is a mixed-use co-location development in Barking, Greater London IG11. The development will offer affordable housing built alongside light industrial space as well as green spaces, play areas, balconies, green roof terraces and a café including total roof areas 6,000m2.
Task
Four to seventeen storey buildings will contain 156 new homes and 17 commercial units. There are 4 tower blocks A, B, C & D build around 2 large podiums. Robson Roofing scope of works includes bitumen hotmelt applied to concrete insitu substrate, 270mm Kingspan XPS insulation to achieve 0.12 W/m2K and filter sheet. Robson’s will be executing extensive and intensive green roofs, paving to colonnade areas and terraces, landscaping to podium field areas, all access equipment’s including mansafe and Davit system, perimeter capping and responsible for full design through to successful delivery on the project design.
